Some of them may actually used in other Latin American countries as well.

Güey- Probably the most used slang in Mexico. It is like "dude," and is used ALL the time (pronounced almost like “way”).
Pinche- fucking (adj.)
No manches- No way! Not to be used in formal situations.
No mames- No way! The cussword version. Definitely do not use this in formal situations. literally it basically means don't blow me.
Mamada- blow job
@- used when a word can be male or female, to represent both the “O” and the “A” in the word.

http://wanderlusting.org/blog/brook/mexican-spanish-slang#comments English Fun Latin America/Caribbean Spanglish Spanish Study Fri, 04 Jul 2008 19:48:12 +0000 Brook 466 at http://wanderlusting.org Money into power http://wanderlusting.org/blog/brook/money-power
Hello again, from the biggest city in the world!* A few weekends ago, I went to a very fresa bar with some of my lawyer friends here (young feminist lawyers from the organization I work for). Fresa, in Mexico, means rich, snooty, haughty, etc. Literally, it means strawberry, and it is used to describe the upscale young people of which there are multitude in Mexico City. First clue: you have to buy a bottle to sit a table, and bottles were around US$130. WHAT!? Bottles of alcohols like Bacardi and Absolut cost about US$15 in the grocery stores here.

http://wanderlusting.org/blog/brook/money-power#comments Fun Latin America/Caribbean Political Spanish Wed, 12 Mar 2008 23:16:53 +0000 Brook 362 at http://wanderlusting.org Perritos Mexicanos http://wanderlusting.org/blog/brook/perritos-mexicanos
I like to think that one of my all-time top MMMs was seeing a bunch of little white dogs in a box in a hardware store with a sign that said $ Poodles French $. They were decidedly not French poddles. They were, however, shaved in the form of french poodles, even though they didnt have the curly hair required to sport that little poof-ball doo.

Recently I have seen several little white dogs here in Coyoacan that have their ear hair dyed different colors. Ever time I see a dyed doggie I have to chuckle, and remember how happy I am to be in Mexico.
http://wanderlusting.org/blog/brook/perritos-mexicanos#comments Fun Latin America/Caribbean Spanglish MMM - Most Mexican Moment Sun, 28 Oct 2007 15:33:30 +0000 Brook 229 at http://wanderlusting.org What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of Mexico City? http://wanderlusting.org/poll/what-first-thing-comes-your-mind-when-you-think-mexico-city * Dangerous * Great Food * Dirty * Amazing Subway System * Districto Federal http://wanderlusting.org/poll/what-first-thing-comes-your-mind-when-you-think-mexico-city#comments The Whole World English Fun Fri, 24 Aug 2007 14:36:23 +0000 HeatherFife 197 at http://wanderlusting.org Pupusas http://wanderlusting.org/quote/pupusas If you eat too many pupusas will you get a pupusASS? http://wanderlusting.org/quote/pupusas#comments Foods Fun Latin America/Caribbean Spanglish Thu, 12 Oct 2006 22:43:25 +0000 greg 171 at http://wanderlusting.org Studying Chinese http://wanderlusting.org/quote/studying-chinese-0 Today the People in my textbook got married. http://wanderlusting.org/quote/studying-chinese-0#comments Asia Fun Sat, 12 Aug 2006 07:32:50 +0000 HeatherFife 146 at http://wanderlusting.org
