I liked the text on the scoreboard for a couple of reasons:
Copa Revancha - the "cup of revenge" or maybe "rivals cup" is given to the game between the Boca Juniors and River Plate. These two Buenos Aires teams are bitter rivals. Boca hailing from the relatively poor but artful sailing side of town known as Boca and River Plate from the northern Palermo neighborhood known for being quite cultured (and snooty).
The Stadium (built for first use 1978) is called "Stadium Malvinas Argentinas" which is a bit interesting. The "Malvinas Islands" (you call them the falklands islands) are a sore point in the history of Argentina. The sovereignty of these islands wasn't well determined over the years since they've never had much strategic importance and so both Argentina and the U.K. claimed ownership. In the early 80s the wavering governments (on both sides) decided that deciding the claim would be a good diversion from policy problems domestically and a war erupted. In the end, the U.K. was victorious but to this day you won't see references to the "Falkland Islands" within Argentina and they always call them by the local name "Malvinas". With oil prices rising and speculation of large deposits underwater near the Falklands/Malvinas perhaps we will see this old issue become a hot one again.
My personal prediction - a non-military solution (though some blustering will be involved) which will end with Argentina sharing in the proceeds while the U.K. will maintain control of the islands.
