The organization is not really what I expected.  I feel a little bit misled by the doctor who brought me down here to be a social worker and to do my research.  The guy is the medical director and is getting a divorce from his wife, who was the administrator here.  She took all of the paperwork and a lot of the medical equipment with her when she left a few weeks ago and my feeling is that this organization is on the verge of collapse.  I found some stacks of newspapers in the Dr.’s office and they are articles from the day before I arrived and around then about police standoffs outside the clinic and one of the women here getting arrested for slandering the ex-wife.  They broke into her house and screamed at her, "Puta!  Deje de molestar a mi jefe!!"  I still don't know exactly what is going to happen, but I don't think my research is going to be publishable.
