So, as part of getting ready for our trip we’re working on our Spanish. Of course, while working on my spanish I also have to find time for life and that other kind of “work” ;)
So, I’ve been taking advantage of the Ritmo Latino podcasts. In between their eclectic mix of Latin music you get a dose of seriously heavy Spanglish from the lovely host. It’s really la great way to insert some new and different spanish into my day without requiring full attention.
Asi se goza
For example, right now I’m oyendo asi se goza - que significa that’s how it’s liked. In fact, this is the way I like it. This is apparently a bit of a cover of something else, but it’s all around an awesome song.
Now that I’ve discovered this I can’t wait to listen more. The only drawback about this show from Saipan/Guam is that it’s a once weekly affair.
Oh well, repeats it is!
Have you ever downloaded Latino USA from NPR broadcasts? It’s not a language learning podcast but i like it nonetheless.
Hi Greg!
How is the trip going? Your pictures look great! If you’re still a fan of Ritmo Latino, you may want to hear how it all came about. I did an interview with Neil, the host of the show, for my podcast “Voices en Español.” Check it out, si se te apetece. :) ¡Hasta luego!
