Finding Luxury and Culture in Puerto Vallarta

My only two visits to Mexico have been to resort towns.  While I have traveled to Spain, Central and South America pretty extensively, I don't know my own neighbor.  My most recent trip was to Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco, Mexico.  It was a family trip, which means we were treated to decadent acommodations at Casa Tres Vidas, in the Vida Alta Villa, which is likely the nicest place I've ever stayed...or seen for that matter.  The three bedroom villa, with its own pool, jaccuzi, terrace, balconies, and FIVE bathrooms included a chef and assistant who made daily breakfast, dinner, and lucky for us, margaritas.
